Pel – Plug Bentonite Pellets

3/8" non coated pellets - High swelling, sodium bentonite compressed into pellet form.  Available in 3/8” size. Forms a high density seal between the sand pack and grout section of monitoring wells. Can be tremmied into place or placed through a hollow stem auger.

1/4" coated pellets - High swelling bentonite with a time-release, biodegradable, non-stick coating. The TR30 coating allows the pellets to be poured through standing water without sticking together for up to 30 minutes, thus allowing for deeper settings. Available in 1/4” size. Can be tremmied into place or placed through a hollow stem auger. TR60 allows up to 60 minutes and the TR90 up to 90 minutes.
